I am a bilingual (Spanish/English) registered Psychologist with a Masters Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I began my counselling career with a not for profit organisation in the field of family and domestic violence. Here I worked extensively with children, adolescents, adults and couples, providing counselling support and behaviour management both on an individual basis and in a group environment.

Since those early days, my work has evolved and I have gained extensive clinical experience in the fields of grief and loss, addictions, trauma, anger management, sleep disorders, anxiety, depression, stress and self-esteem and eating disorders.

I now days work primarily with adolescents, adults and couples.

I work from a client-centred approach and incorporate evidence based therapies which includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) including CBT-E for eating disorders; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Motivational Interviewing (MI); Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT); Trauma Focused CBT, and Eye Movement Desensatisation Reprocessing (EMDR).

I believe the foundation from which all therapeutic work happens, starts with a relationship based on respect, openness and acceptance. These are key components which guide my practice and interaction with you, the client.
